This book is a classic "how to." Many of the techniques discussed can also be used for depression. The emphasis is how thinking and fears are related to our behavior.

Love the title. Her book uses the Buddhist teachings of Wise Effort, Wise Mindfulness and Wise Concentration as methods to explore and live a more balanced life. You do not need to be Buddhist to benefit from her gentle approach to life. She's a great storyteller.
